Privacy Policy
Party Island ("we", "our", "us") is a party game for phones, published by Skuza. This policy explains what data the game uses, why, who processes it and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
1. The short version
- No account, email address, real name, contacts, photos or location is needed or collected.
- No ads, no in-app purchases and no analytics or tracking SDKs.
- Playing online creates a random, anonymous player ID and connects your phone to other players through Unity's multiplayer services.
- Your progress (coins, XP, characters) and settings stay on your phone.
2. Data the game uses
| Data | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous player ID and session token | Created the first time you play online, to let you create or join parties. | Unity Authentication (Unity Technologies) |
| Nickname and chosen character | Shown to the other players in your party. The default nickname is random (e.g. "PLAYER 482"); you can change it. | The other players in your party, via Unity's multiplayer services |
| IP address and connection data | Needed to connect the phones in a party. Game traffic is relayed and encrypted in transit. | Unity Relay and Multiplayer Sessions (Unity Technologies) |
| Party code and match state | Lets friends join your party and keeps everyone's game in sync while you play. | Unity's multiplayer services and the players in your party, for the length of the session |
| Progress and settings | Coins, XP, unlocked characters, volume and graphics settings. | Stored only on your device |
Solo play against bots runs entirely on your phone, works offline and does not send any data.
3. Service providers
Online play runs on Unity Gaming Services (Authentication, Multiplayer Sessions and Relay), provided by Unity Technologies. Unity processes the data above on our behalf to provide those services. See Unity's privacy policy. The app stores (Google Play, Apple App Store) handle downloads and may collect crash and performance data under their own policies.
We do not sell or share your data for advertising, and we do not use it to build profiles.
4. How long we keep it
Party and connection data exist only while a party is running. Your anonymous player ID stays on your device and with Unity Authentication until you delete it (see below). Progress and settings stay on your device until you uninstall the game or clear its data.
5. Your choices and rights
- You can play offline with bots without using any online service.
- You can change your nickname at any time in the game.
- You can ask us to delete the online data linked to your anonymous player ID; see Delete your data.
- Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your data. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
6. Children
Party Island is intended for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the online features, contact us and we will delete the associated data.
7. Security
Connections to Unity's services use encryption in transit. Because we collect so little, there is very little to protect, but no system is perfectly secure.
8. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell players in the game or on this site.
